Public Housing Flat Rents
Helena Housing Authority Board of Commissioners determined to adopt the following flat rents for its low rent public housing units and amend its ACOP appropriately effective January 1, 2024:
1-Bed: $753.00
2-Bed: $951.00
3-Bed: $1,233.33
4-Bed: $1,417.00
5-Bed: $1,629.00
For those households in units that pay their own utilities, the applicable utility allowance for utilities paid will be deducted from the flat rent amount for the unit size as an adjustment for the actual rent paid. For those households in units that HHA pays all utilities, the flat rent amount for the unit size will be the actual rent paid. Helena Housing Authority Board of Commissioners determined to adopt these energy consumption based utility allowances for its low rent public housing units where residents pay their own utilities as required effective January 1, 2024.
